Leading of Health Practice Leader training in the University of Pécs Faculty of Health Sciences.
Organization and leading of „First aid at work” trainings of the emloyees of the University of Pécs.
Main research activity
Colleagues of the institute are participating continuously national and international researches and projects in the field of emergency care (prehospital and hospital) to improve the quality of patient care. In the last years more educational materials and books were written. These are useful not only for university students but also for health care professionals. (TÁMOP 4.1.1.C-12/1/KONV-2012-0010: NyME – BGF – PTE – ZFOK – PFA Gépészeti és mechatronikai hálózat kutatás és képzési együttműködés 2013-2015; EFOP 3.4.3. – 16 2016 -00005: Korszerű egyetem a modern városban: Értékközpontúság, nyitottság és befogadó szemlélet egy 21. századi felsőoktatási modellben). In the focus of additional projects is the measurement of the effectiveness and possibilities of smart technologies in the emergency care (TUDFO/51757-1/2019-ITM: Tématerületi Kiválósági Program 2019).
Improve the effectiveness and popularity of first aid is one of the main tasks. We have good quality training materials for every age groups. A special field in this topic is the first aid education of children. The main aim of our „Kids Save Lives in Hungary” project is to teach children for resuscitation. The project is in cooperation with the international „Kids Save Lives” project (supported by the WHO). We organized several programmes in kindergartens, primary- and secondary schools. There are available several national and international publications of our research group in this field.
TÁMOP 6.1.4/12/1-2012-00001 „Early childhood (0-7 év) programme” - „Examination of the attitude of parent about raising children, satisfaction with primary care, sociological/socio-psychological study and analysis”. Coordination of the project was made by the University of Pécs Faculty of Health Sciences. The leading institution cooperated with the University of Szeged Faculty of Health Sciences and the University of Debrecen Faculty of Health Sciences.
Supervising and coordination of PhD students and studies related to the following topics: health care, educational sciences and interdisciplinary sciences.
There are several thesis topics for BSc and MSc students in the following fields: topics related to emergency care, life-quality of emergency care workers, first aid eucation, maternity and child care.

Educational activities
The colleagues of the institute have continuous educational and organisational tasks at the University of Pécs Faculty of Health Sciences’ different BSc and MSc trainings. (First aid, Basic clinical knowledges and propedeutics, Health communication, Health promotion – health education, etc.). The education is carried out in Hungarian and in several cases also in English.
Consultancy activities
The colleagues of the institute have the following tasks: accreditation of trainings (at the request of the Hungarian Accreditation Committee), renewal of Training Output Requirements in BSc and MSc trainings, expert tasks in the development of health care trainings (at the request of the National Healthcare Service Center).

TUDFO/51757-1/2019-ITM: „Tématerületi Kiválósági Program 2019”: Measurement of the effectiveness and possibilities of smart technologies in the emergency care.
Development of the professional teacher training and network of trainers in the technical and human field TÁMOP-4.1.2.B.2-13 / 1-2013-0002. In the framework of the project, the starting material of health teacher training and the development of teaching materials related to the training were developed.
We can reach infrastructural and methodological development aims in the University of Pécs Faculty of Health Sciences Human Patient Simulation Center.

- September 21-22, 2018, „XIII. Critical Care Days in Pécs” congress: participants were national and international health care professionals. The main focus was on the actualities of emergency care.
- September 13-14, 2019, „XIV. Critical Care Days in Pécs” congress: participants were national and international health care professionals from seven different countries. The main focus was on the first aid and its education.
- September 13, 2019, Resuscitation flashmob as part of the 14th Critical Care Day sin Pécs, 2018 with the participation of 500 kindergarten and primary school children.
